This public town park provides residents with green space to relax and unwind. The park features two tennis courts, a children's playground and picnic tables. Address: 5th Ave & Dogwood St. | Valemount, BC
Cedarside Lake Provincial Park + My Favorites
This provincial park consists of about 18.5 ha, and provides its visitors with Brook Trout fishing, a beach area, fire pits, and picnic sites. Public washrooms are also located on-site. Address: 2.5 km south of Valemount, on Little Cranberry Lake, BC

Mount Robson Provincial Park is British Columbia's second oldest park. Established in 1913, the park is located within the Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site and is an important conservation area. Rearguard Falls Provincial Park + My Favorites
Located on the Upper Fraser River, Rearguard Falls Provincial Park is a good spot for fishing. The falls in mention are the last barrier for spawning salmon that travel to the area from August through September. The park has no campgrounds or facilities. Encompassing a portion of the UNESCO protected Canadian Rocky Mountains World Heritage Site, Hamber Provincial Park is home to grizzly and black bears. Mount Terry Fox Provincial Park is a day-use only park that offers limited facilities. It does offer some hiking trails but is primarily significant as a reminder of the outstanding achievemnets of Terry Fox, one of Canada's greatest national heroes.
